The Enchantress...
The diamonds of her tiara sparkled with ecstasy,
Like dewdrops bathed in the first ray of the morning sun.
The flowers of her bouquet bloomed,
Creating a myriad of colours, like a painter's brush....
Spilling their fragrance into the serenity.
She blushed, as the butterflies fluttered in her unmade hair
And her thin veil of fog tried in vain,
To hide her bridal glow
That seeped its way into the distant horizon.
Simple, yet elegant....
Mysterious and magical....
Her beauty overflowed into the Universe,
Awakening the Earth and the sky from their dreams...
As she tiptoed into the somber northern winds
Unnoticed and unannounced,
Greeted by the musical cacophony of the birds,
Calling out to another day, to begin.
And just as the tired stars returned back home
After lighting up the Heaven, for the entire dark night
And the moon dozed off to sleep
In her lonely wait for her beloved,
The long winter night
Witnessed the birth of a new dawn.....
